Farragut CSD is proud to offer the Online College Network (OCN) to our students. The OCN helps students, parents, clubs, and schools connect to further education.

Students can:

• Build and update resumes online where colleges can find them easily.

• Receive valuable exposure to colleges and universities nationwide.

• Find colleges interested in their talents beyond their community.

• Understand the college admissions process and learn more about higher education.

• Receive information about higher education based on their unique interests and talent.

• Learn about career choices and financial options for higher education.

OCN helps our school by:

• Provide lesson plans that are meaningful and helpful in the real world.
• Have one convenient place to access information on their students.
• Teach students to build and update a resume using Internet technology.
• Familiarize students with the college admissions process.
• Fulfill educational requirements and gather useful data to promote students.

Opportunities:

• Free to all students over the age of 13.
• Password-Protected—Student data is not accessible to the public.
• Dynamic—OCN discusses and implements suggestions from educators daily.
• Available 24/7—Students and colleges can access resumes anytime.
• Expansive—Provides opportunity to students from freshman year in high school through the highest levels of college.
• Comprehensive—Institutions can search the student database, track prospects, and communicate with students, parents, coaches, and other faculty members online.
