Everyone knows who Sean, Sam, and Jesse are but do you know the story behind Same Difference? The band started as a way to pass the time, but ever since their concert in Shenandoah at the Flat Iron they have been bigger than ever. There was a minor set-back, Sean's house was destroyed in a fire along with most of their equipment, but they are coming back in 2006 with higher spirits.
Recently I interviewed Jesse from Same Difference
Lets start with the basics. How did the band start?
I went to Sean�s house and his sister answered the door. She shut it and then she opened it again and yelled �Sean, there�s a guy here with a guitar. From then on we played together. That day we wrote (our song) �Don�t Tell Me (Waiting)�really I think we wrote the whole CD.
What was it like working on your CD?
The place we were at was really crowded. Hopefully next time we are in The Warehouse or someplace less crowded.
What events have made the band stronger?
Sean�s house catching on fire with most of our equipment in it and all the crappy shows we played.
Has a fan done anything crazy at a concert that you can remember?
I signed a girls face once.
If you could get signed to any record label right now, which one would it be and why?
Victory Records because I love the music that comes from it.
