Iowa Hall of Pride
Free Admission for K-12 Students
February 01, 2007
Musco Lighting and the Iowa High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) are pleased to announce a joint venture. Musco will pay admission to the Iowa Hall of Pride for all Iowa students in grades K-12.
The Hall of Pride, an interactive museum showcasing Iowa's communities and their heroes, was opened by the Athletic Association two years ago and is located in downtown Des Moines on Park Street on the lower level of Hy-Vee Hall and across the street from Wells Fargo Arena.
Some of the members of the Farragut School Board have attended and speak highly of the interactive museum with over 26,000 square-foot of fun for all. Mr. Lutt said, "This was a wonderful experience that I want to bring my kids to see. There were fun learning opportunities about everyone from John Wayne to the Farragut State Girls' Basketball Champions. I know my kids will love the virtual sports games."
