Interview Procedures
Applicants' folders are screened by principals or appropriate supervisors. Applicants will be contacted for a screening interview by phone and those who are under serious consideration will be contacted to arrange an interview date. Interviews are conducted by one or more of the following: superintendent, principals, directors, and other staff members. In some cases parents and community members are included in the selection process. The selection process will include a site visit. Interviews conducted in the FarragutCommunitySchool District are at the applicant's expense. Those applicants who are interviewed will be notified by telephone (if possible) when the position is filled. Applicants who were not interviewed will be notified in writing when the position is filled. If, for some reason, the applicant is not informed, he/she is encouraged to contact the Board Secretary. Any inquiries you may have regarding specific openings should be directed to the Board Secretary.
