Wednesday, March 9th

8:30 a.m. - 3:30 a.m.

All day Professional Development will be held at Farragut on Wednesday, March 9th from 8:30 a.m.- 3:30 a.m. The focus for the day will be I-CAT (Iowa Curriculum Alignment Tool), Promethean Board Training, and time to explore the data learned from completing the I-CAT with your job a’likes. This time is to be used to discuss what is being taught currently in your classroom with your job a’likes while looking at the I-CAT data completed earlier in the day. Lunch will be provided on site. There will also be pie provided in the afternoon (Farragut PD tradition/ new Nishnabotna tradition?).

10:05-10:15	Meet with job a’like and discuss what one area of the curriculum you will take in the I-CAT. (Example: 2nd grade teachers may decide to do math...or English teachers may decide to do English 9...or Social Studies teachers may decide to do their World History Class)	Same as Hamburg...Meet with your job a’likes.
10:15-11:45	I-CAT: Business/Computer Room and High School Computer Stations	Promethean Board Training in the 3rd grade Room.
