FARRAGUT ELEMENTARY/NISHNABOTNA SUPPLY LIST FOR 2011-2012

PRE-SCHOOL– Book bag large enough to hold a pocket folder, sturdy folder with pockets, a box of Kleenex, two large rolls of paper towels, kindermat for 4 year old pre-kindergarten class only (no rugs, please), and gym shoes for 4 year old pre-kindergarten class only.

KINDERGARTEN – 8 or 16 pack crayons, bottle of glue, Fiskar scissors, pencils, large eraser, pencil box, backpack, Kindermat (no rugs please), 2 boxes of Kleenex, (1) box of crackers, (1) two-pocket folder, and a paint shirt.

1^ST GRADE – (1) 16 count Crayola crayons, (1) Elmer’s school glue, (1) eraser, (1) Fiskar scissors, (1) 70 count spiral notebook wide rule paper, (2) pocket folders, (2) boxes Kleenex tissue, (1) plastic school box, (1) 8 oz. waterless hand sanitizer, #2 pencils, (1) Elmer’s glue stick, (1) pkg. of four dry erase markers, (1) addition flash cards, (1) subtraction flash cards.

2^ND GRADE – pencils, (2) big erasers, crayons, bottle of glue, glue stick, scissors, subtraction flash cards, pencil box or bag, ruler, (3) two-pocket folders, box of colored pencils, (2) 50-75 count spiral notebooks (wide-ruled and avoid the easy tear page variety!), 2 large boxes of tissues, (1) pkg. of four dry erase markers, and 1 small bottle of hand sanitizing gel. PLEASE DO NOT bring 3-ring binders, trapper keepers or oversized pencil boxes, as our desks are too small.

3^RD GRADE – (1) 16 count Crayola crayons, (1) eraser, (2 dozen) #2 pencils, (1) red medium pen, (4) 100 count spiral comp. book wide rule, (1) 1/16” plastic ruler – 12” standard & metric, (4) asst. two-pocket folders, (1) bottle school glue, (1) pkg. Crayola or any brand colored markers, (3) 160 count Kleenex tissue, (1) multiplication flash cards, (1) subtraction flash cards, (1) plastic school box, (1) scissors, (1) pkg. of four dry erase markers.

4^TH GRADE – (1 doz.) #2 pencils, notebook paper, (1) ruler w/inches & centimeters, (2) boxes of Kleenex, (1) glue or glue stick, (1) scissors, (1) crayons or colored pencils, art bag or box, (2) pkg. of four dry erase markers, calculator, (5) 2 pocket folders, 4^th graders also need a 2 pocket folder for music.

5^TH GRADE – Crayons, (1) Eraser, (3) boxes of Kleenex, Clorox Wipes (Antibacterial wipes-popup container), Pencil Bag, (1 doz.) #2 pencils, (1) Fiskar Scissors, (1) ruler w/inches & metric, (1) Glue or Glue Stick, (2) Dry Erase Markers, (5) 2-pocket folders, (4) 1 subject 70 sheet spiral notebooks, (1) Highlighter, (1) Black Ink Pen, (1) Book Bag, (1) Chap Stick

6^TH GRADE – (4) 70 Count Spiral Comp. Book Wide Rule, (1) 12 count colored pencils, (1 dozen) #2 pencils, (1) eraser, (2) red medium pen, (2) black medium pens, (2) 160 count Kleenex tissue, (8) asst. two-pocket folders, (1) 8 oz. waterless hand sanitizer bottle w/pump, (1) 4 oz. Elmer’s school glue, (1) 24 count Crayola crayons, (1) nylon pencil bag, (1) 5” sharp Fiskar scissors, (1) glue stick, (1) basic calculator.

JH & HS STUDENTS – (5) spiral notebooks, (6) pocket folders, flash drive, pens, pencils and an extra eraser.

ALL STUDENTS WILL NEED CLEAN GYM SHOES TO LEAVE AT SCHOOL. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE ON THE GYM FLOOR WITH STREET SHOES.
